Chief Welch is a native son of Southern Utah and has 21+ years in the fire service with qualifications among many including Instructor, Fire II classification, EMS, Engineer, Inspector, Wildland, extensive structure fire experience, as well as arial, ADO, Hazmat awareness, special operations, rope tech, and countless hours of training in trench and swift water rescue.
